As we are approaching the end of the school year, summer reading books will be sent home. Books will go home tomorrow for students to read over the summer as well as Summer Reading Challenge sheets.
I have attached the following links in for more information if needed:
The Coonley Library website (http://coonleylibrary.weebly.com)
has links to two pages with info for summer reading and the link to Tumblebooks.
The Summer Reading Challenge page has extra forms to print (at very bottom of page), and descriptions of all Summer Reading novels. http://coonleylibrary.weebly.com/summer-reading-information.html
The Summer Reading Book Lists page has a bunch of links to great reading lists for families or students to use. http://coonleylibrary.weebly.com/reading-lists.html
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Room 206 will be completing MAP tests on May 30th and May 31st. We will be taking the reading test in the afternoon on the 30th. We will be taking the math test on the morning of the 31st. Students will be taking their tests in the computer lab. I spoke with many of you about these tests at parent teacher conferences. Please make sure your student eats a good breakfast and receives a good night sleep the night before to be prepared.
Also, if you know your student will be absent either of those days please let me know as soon as possible, so I can plan make up arrangements ahead of time. If you have any questions, please let me know!
Information about the science fair is coming home today. Students may work by themselves, with a partner or with two other people, however most of the work is done outside of school so that is something to think about when picking partners.
Please let me know if you have any questions! I will be continually posting information here on my website about what is due so that will be a good place to look for any questions as well.
